Go Fish is best known for its old- fashioned candy counter and the patience of those who work behind it. You stand on the step and are faced with over a hundred choices of candy under the glass, all for 25 cents or less. We hear many stories of children who save up all year to spend their money at Go Fish.
There is something for everyone. We feature non-electrical games, toys, plush animals, wind-up toys all with a flare for the fun and unusual.
Our gifts include many local artists wares; granite vases and jewelry, fabulous wooden fish and fine silk scarves. T-shirts and sweatshirts featuring the art of Rachel Boyden and presently the only place to find her designs. Hannah and Henry (Rachel's children) also have a unique line of note cards.
This season we featured lots of useful, recycled and fair trade items for the home and person. Some examples are envirosax bags, nahui ollin candy wrapper bags, acacia jewelry and especially Downeast Doormats made of reclaimed pot warp.
